How you can get involved
There are several ways to stand with us and help women take their next steps:
- Support financially – Your support can provide: trainers, tools, manuals, courses, and safe learning spaces. Every contribution helps women gain confidence, learn practical skills, and opens doors to trades careers.
- Help us create trainers – If you’re a tradeswoman or experienced in teaching you don’t have to be a qualified in teacher, but you do need to be a good communicator. Join our pool of trainers and help deliver courses safely and confidently. Help us create a sustainable Train the Trainer programme We have developed the materials and training manuals – we need to create more trainers to meet the demand fronm survivors and other women in the community.
- Spread the word – Remember, you may not know about a woman’s experiences, talk to everyone about what we’re doing so the women who need this can access the DIY Champions training courses! Help us connect with women who are ready to take the next step, and raise awareness of safe pathways into trades. Our strong networks with women’s organisations and next step introductory training ensure women have access to the courses and the support they need to fully benefit and move their lives forward using the new skills they acquire.
Every contribution — your time, skills, or support — makes a real difference.
